Methodology

What We Measure — And What We Refuse to Fake.

We use the same public web everyone else does. The difference is the instrument. Here is how we read it, how confident we are in each finding, and the lines we will not cross.

How this works

Everything here comes from the public web — the same signals available to any search engine, any answer engine, and any tool that cares to look.

What we do with it is ours. Your site is measured across four defined dimensions, each built from documented ranking factors, each scored to a disclosed model. Those dimensions are then read against one another, because the findings that matter most rarely live inside a single signal — they emerge where two of them disagree.

Every result carries a confidence label. Every number can show you where it came from. And every measurement can be taken again, the same way, to prove whether something actually changed. That last part is the one nobody else offers.

The confidence model

Every Finding Says How We Know It.

A number without its confidence is an opinion. Ours never arrives alone.

Confirmed

We measured it directly on the live site this scan. The evidence is in hand.

Observed

We read it from signals we could reach, and we tell you it's an observation, not a direct read.

Estimated

We inferred it from related evidence, labelled as inferred — never presented as certain.

Not measured

We couldn't reach it this scan. We say so plainly, and we tell you what it would take.

What a block does

When a Site Refuses Our Reader, We Don't Invent a Score.

If a firewall stops us at the security layer, we measure what survives a block — the infrastructure and registration signals that don't need the page — and we tell you plainly that the page itself went unread. We never claim we read a page we didn't.

What we refuse to fake
  • No score for a page we never fetched.
  • No named data source, ever — it's our data and our analysis.
  • No secret weights or hidden formula; the model is disclosed.
  • No promise of a ranking or an AI citation — we report correlation and opportunities only.
  • No invented urgency, no fabricated activity counters, no fake testimonials.
"Everyone tells you what's wrong. We're the only ones who prove it got fixed."

A report is an opinion until something checks it. Ours gets checked — by a system built to check it, using the same measurements that produced it in the first place. When we say we're the only ones who prove it, that invites scrutiny. We can meet it.

The dogfood proof

We Pass Our Own Instrument, in Public, Before We Sell It.

Every check our own scanner can run against a website, this site passes — and every recommendation we would write for a client is already in place here. The scan runs against this domain on every deploy, and its dated result is published for anyone to re-run.

Re-scanned on every deploy — its date proves it is current, and we never show a result we haven't produced.
